Training of Maternal
and Child Health Aides in November 2005 |
Maternal and Child Health aides are like assistant midwives, and have
not had formal nurse training. They work in the peripheral health
units and are midway between the Traditional Birth Attendants and
the midwives, both in terms of skills and numbers.
