1st January 2005

The introduction to our film involves the boy in the photo pretending to be pregnant with a football under his T-shirt. This was the last scene we needed to shoot which means that now we've just got the editing to go. We've just got hold of a generator which is really going to help as before we've had very limited access to electricity.

We're going to Freetown for a couple of days on Tuesday to buy a tv, generator and video. We need these to screen our film in the future at the clinics and outlying villages, and will leave it behind to be under the supervision of the District Health Management Team when we go. We plan to show an initial version of the film to a few focus groups at the hospital, a clinic and village to gauge audience response and see what if there are any sections that need altering.

We're also going to use the next few weeks here to take a lot of photos of the hospital for this web site and to make a fund-raising film with the aim of bringing the hospital to life for previous and future KHA supporters.
