Fire in Yeliboya: Appeal for funds

At around 5am on 15th February 2022, a devastating fire broke out in Kambia District in a place called Yeliboya.  Yeliboya is an island community, access is by boat along the Great Scarcies river.  Around 80 homes were destroyed, along with the main market building.

The Kambia Appeal sent food to assist in the short term.  The people of Yeliboya have asked for further funds to purchase corrugated iron to help them with the reconstruction of the homes that were destroyed.
