Five volunteers from Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust spent 8 days in Sierra Leone delivering 5 days of training to Maternal and Child Health Aides (MCHAs).
At the beginning of 2013, we were awarded a research grant by Comic Relief to run a pilot programme to train 60 new Community Health Workers in the Mambolo Chiefdom of Kambia District to improve access to healthcare for women and children. Read more about this new project here.
