Improving women's and children's healthcare in Kambia district
Our projects have been designed to tackle the key limitations of the health services in the Kambia district.
These include:
A lack of ongoing training programmes for existing health staff at the district hospital and at the 69 community health centres across the district
Lack of regular assessment of the quality of local healthcare provided
Limited levels of adequate supportive supervision and management of health staff
Lack on basic medical equipment and supplies.
