Our projects are designed to tackle the key limitations of the health services in the Kambia district.

These include:

  • A lack of ongoing training programmes for existing health staff at the district hospital and at the 69 community health centres across the district

  • Lack of regular assessment of the quality of local healthcare provided

  • Limited levels of adequate supportive supervision and management of health staff

  • Lack on basic medical equipment and supplies
